At Republic of Media we’ve always been proud of our agility and innovation. It’s our culture to think outside the box and it consistently produces media firsts and award winning work.
This ethos is more important than ever at the moment – we’re launching multiple campaigns every week for the Scottish Government with extremely short lead times – only on Monday we planned and launched a campaign on TV in the same day. The new normal has arrived and the old ways don’t work anymore. ITV / STV have had to adapt their spot times, delivering every two weeks to build agility into their planning too – in turn allowing us and our clients to work as flexibly as possible.
New agile ways of working have also created opportunities for our other clients, many of whom are viewing this period as an opportunity for their brand with lots of exciting work yet to come. We’ve started working with new clients, and we’re supporting existing ones, including Beaverbrook’s and Roberts Bakery who both launched new campaigns from scratch in the last month – having had to abandon original brand plans when lockdown came into place. It shows exceptional strength to do this when all your stores are closed, and is recognition of the power of brand.
It goes without saying that we couldn’t do this without forward-thinking clients, and flexible and agile media partners, so thank you to those working with us to make it all happen.
